My engagement happened on 28th Oct. The pics also have been uploaded, click here to view them. Today Haldi and Mehni will be applied on me! Of course I will posting those pics too.

On of my friend suggested that I should do video streaming of my wedding. Good Internet connection is the problem otherwise I would have arranged for that too.

I can't believe the D-day is tomorrow!!

**7 days until Wedding**

Till yesterday total of 65 card were distributed. Now only few people are left to invite. This is a major task in any wedding. Going to everyone's house and invite them. In total the cards were distributed in just 3 days! with the average of 20 cards per day.

I am on leave from office from 26th October, Monday and will resume work on 23rd November, Monday. That's almost 1 month! Now the wedding preparations are in full swing. Yesterday I went to take my Wedding and Engagement Suits. Sadly none were ready :( Now I will get them tomorrow on 24th Oct.

I am sure I will look very strange on the wedding day. The suit that I will be wearing is glossy and has shiny embroidery on it. Add to it the "Pagdi", "Sehra", "Chunni" and other accessories.

On Sunday I gave wedding cards to 5 friends Rajesh (Kaplan), Sandeep (Kaplan), Love (College), Chinar (School & College) and Vikram (Alcatel). In the brackets I have mentioned how I know them, either they are my office friends or college friends. Yesterday I sent email invitations to around 40 people in my office. Today I gave card to my Cab Members - Ajay, Varun, Shramee, Karan, Aarti and also to my cubicle members - Deepmala, Rashmi and Navjot. I have to send a lot more invitations.

As of today 10 days are left until my Wedding!! Yes, only 10 days

My parent are also distributing the cards to our relatives and I guess within 2 or 3 days this task will be finished. I also came to know that the Wedding invitation is not given without sweets and that too special one. It is called as "Bhaaji", it has to be given along with the card. It has mathi and sakar paare. We ordered 45 boxes of bhaaji from the market near ghanta ghar. It is famous in Delhi, known as "Mathi waalein".

Yesterday on the occasion of Diwali I announced my Wedding! I sent email invitations to most of my close friends and family members. You can check the Wedding Invitation that I sent to people attached with this post. You must have noticed that the invitation is unusual and has elements of humour in it. Well I didn't want to write those boring stuff that everyone else do. Most of the people don't even take the pain of writing anything in their wedding invitation, they just scan the Wedding Invitation card and attach it with the email. That's really rubbish. I mean it's like doing a formality, so that no one can say later that "Mujhe card nahi bheja". Their should be a personal touch to the invitations also, that's what that invitation and this website is all about!

I designed the Wedding Invitation and this website myself. Yeah it took me around 1 week to complete both the things and I am satisfied with the output. If your have any feedback or suggestion about the Wedding Invitation Design that I sent you or this website then please let me. I will be glad to hear them.

As of today, 18th Oct 2009 there are still 13 days to go until the Wedding day. I am excited yet nervous about this new beginning of life. A lot changes after marriage are inevitable. I don't know much but this is what people say. All my friends who are married have already warned me that be prepared for lot of surprises and challenges in life. I don't know how it's gonna be like but I will try to live my life like I used to.

Ok so the wedding day is approaching. I will try to update this website blog daily, may be more often so you can know what's happening in my life during my last few bachelor days. All those who are still unmarried, you should follow this website. This is like reading a tutorial or HOWTO guide :)
